I'm Metal Magpie. No, that's not what's written on my birth certificate (my parents were boringly sensible in that regard and called me Emma) but, unless you're a member of law enforcement or work for the government, I answer to pretty much anything from Magpie to Wench (thanks to my fencing club).
(By the way, if you are a member of law enforcement: it's not what you think, and I don't know where the bodies are.)
For those interested in some dreary specifics, I'm English (the ones who shout "God save the Queen!") and female (the ones with breasts). I'm also a university student (the ones who do no work), currently studying electronic enginnering at Hogwarts Institute of Higher Education. (Only two thirds of that last sentence is true.) I spend far too much time on the internet.
I'm a fan of improbable things. I'm also attracted to shiny/sparkly objects (except in the case of said sparkly object being of vampiric persuasion). [Insert logical connection here.]

Above my main computers I have a large(ish) pinboard. One half of this currently has: one good-luck card, two flyers, one library-book receipt (must take that back) and a list of "debts". The other half is my quote wall. Completely normal people say highly quotable things every day, it's just no one bothers to write them down... until now. Extracts from my quote wall will occasionally be flung in the sidebar.
